Thanksgiving

I do love to cook so Thanksgiving is a treat. However, this year was the exception since I ended up in the emergency room with a kidney stone. Jeff and the kids were great at rescuing the dinner!

Heather, Keith, Eric, Penny, Anna, Austin and their children plus mom and dad came over for the feast. Elisabeth and Scott came over in the evening.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra Concert

We had a fun family day going to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Concert in Salt Lake City. We of course had to get a new outfit then eat at Subway first.
The kids loved taking the train down and Jeff and I loved not worrying about traffic.
The concert was 2 1/2 hours of great entertainment! They played my three favorite songs: Christmas in Sarajo, Christmas Cannon and their finale being Wizards in Winter.
We met up with Elisabeth and Scott at the Gateway after the show.

Eating at Panda Express after the concert.

Farmington Canyon

I hiked Farmington Creek Trail with two friends from work. Autumn is such a great time to hike! This trail is 3.2 miles.

We saw this old car near the trail. It apparently had rolled down the mountain side 50 years ago from the road high above. Kind of earrie!

My Hike to Adam's Canyon

Such a beautiful Autumn day. I hiked Adam's Canyon in East Layton. The colors were beautiful!

Flowers in October

I love the beautiful colors of flowers. I knew the pansies in my yard would thrive after a frost but I had no idea that my holly hocks and petunias would last until October 31st!

With the petunias and holly hocks close to the house, I am guessing they stayed warm enough to live through snow, wind and frost so far.

Halloween 2009

Halloween Time! Elisabeth's work, Harland-Clark, had trick or treating in the offices. Tons and tons of candy was given out. The kids liked it and the adults had lots of fun too.
I worked at the hospital Halloween Day so I dressed up like a Beatnik. Good one, huh.

Jeff was scary looking! Katrina was a cute pirate.

SHS Football Playoff game

The Syracuse High School football team is in the playoffs again this year. In the first round they played Skyline HS, winning 35-7. Nov. 6th they at Bingham HS.

This game was played at SHS

Julia fell asleep on my lap. It really was a good game.

After the game some of Celesta's friends came over for chili and games.
